Greetings! I'm Aylene, and I'm thrilled to share our journey with you. Born in the Philippines, I embarked on a life-changing adventure when I was sent to the United States at age 10. I lived with my remarkable grandmother, Patrocinio De Guzman, who played an essential role in my life.
Since then, I've been on an incredible journey, driven by a passion for creating change. I've been blessed to travel the world, seeing both beauty and challenges. What stands out is the universal language of smiles and warm greetings.
My love for exploration began early, and over 20 years ago, I felt a calling to give back to the communities that had touched my heart. This led to the creation of the Tooth Fairy Drive, collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste for Filipino schoolchildren. We also sent used books to remote schools. In addition, we launched feeding programs that provided sustenance to hundreds facing hunger. The journey reaffirmed the adage that the more you give, the more you receive. Giving became a family affair with my twin boys actively participating.
In October 2022, we established The Hizon International Foundation, and in 2023, we achieved the following:
* PATROCINIO DE GUZMAN Scholarship: In February 2023, we proudly awarded $1000 scholarships to 15 dedicated single mothers, supporting their pursuit of higher education.
* Mentorship Program: We empowered scholarship recipients with guidance and support.
* Monthly Gratitude Soirees: A virtual platform for positivity, meaningful conversations, and connecting with our communities.
* Educational Programs: Collaboration with conscious leaders, offering tools for personal and professional growth.
Our 2023 achievements are thanks to our dedicated team, volunteers, and support from individuals like you!
